TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General

Office Hours are from 8 am - 5:30 pm daily but may vary in busy periods.

SHARED ZONE: MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT OF 10KM/h. This applies to all areas in the park.
Arrival and departure times

Check-in: Sites 11 am.

Check out: Sites 10 am

Guests may be required to present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.

Access into the park is controlled by boom gate. You will be provided with a link to the mobile app. on the day of check in. This app. will be active and give you access for the duration of your stay. This access is for your personal use only and may not be used to give access to other people. Please do not open the gate until you are on the property.

New arrivals and guests must report at entrance before entering the park.

After hours check-in is accepted up to 9 pm if prior arrangement has been made with Reception during office hours.

Late check out is subject to availability.
Conditions of Entry

As part of the conditions of entry to Caravan & Camping in Queensland, guests are to abide by the Camp Rules. These are available at reception or on our website at www.caravancampingqld.com.au

Guests may not hire a campsite, tent, or caravan to another person.
-
Park Management reserves the right to evict any person who fails to obey the park rules.
-
Any person found to be damaging park property or that of other guests will be evicted from the park without a refund and will be held responsible for repair costs.

Rates, Bookings, Cancellations, and Discounts
Rates
-
Base Site rates quoted are for up to 2 persons.
-
Provided there is enough space, extra vehicles or boats or large recreational equipment will incur a fee of $7 during Off-Peak season and $10 during Peak season. This is in addition to the one car park provided per campsite.

Fees are charged in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Bookings
-
The full amount is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

When a booking is made and paid for on our website, a confirmation email will be sent to the nominated email address. This email will contain a booking number.
-
Bring a copy of the confirmation to present upon arrival if requested.
-
Please keep your booking number and confirmation email safe for the duration of your stay.

Booking Agents
-
If you purchase camping on a third party website, or from a Booking Agent, any query regarding the purchase, or any refund request, must be referred to the website on which you made the purchase or the Booking Agent who sold you the camping permit and/or accommodation.
Discounts
-
Where a guest has made a reservation under a special offer or discount, no further offers or discounts will be applied to that reservation.
-
​Bookings made subject to a special offer may have special terms and conditions (including balance payment due dates and refunds/cancellation policy).
Changes and Refunds
-
Any changes to reservations or cancellations will incur an administration fee of $20.00.
-
Bookings may be altered subject to availability, by giving 7 days notice by contacting Reception.
-
Should you decrease the number of nights, and giving 7 days' notice, you will not be entitled to a refund. You will receive a credit for the balance, less a $20.00 administration fee.

Changes that result in a decrease in camping fees will be held in credit for use within 12 months from the date of the change, less a $20.00 administration fee.
-
Changes that result in an increase of camping fees will require the full payment of the difference including the administration fee.

Changes made 1-6 days prior to arrival will incur a $30.00 administration fee.
-
Changes cannot be made to bookings 24 hours or less before the anticipated arrival date.

We do not offer a credit or refund for any unused nights or if you depart before your booked departure date.

A request to extend camping made immediately before or during your stay will be considered where possible. Please contact Reception,

In the unlikely event that Caravan & Camping in Queensland is unable to provide a site on the date listed on your confirmation documents, you will be offered an alternative site, or alternate dates. If no suitable arrangements for alternate accommodation or dates can be made, you may be offered a full or part refund in recognition of the change to your booking.

We will reject a claim for a refund based on circumstances outside of our control including:

Unfavorable or unpleasant weather conditions before or during camping or other activity does not qualify for a refund.

Personal decisions to change visit plans.
-
Personal decisions to arrive sometime after the permit start date or leave before the permit end date.
-
The failure of a person or group to obtain a transport booking or the failure of their chosen transport to operate.
-
I’ll health or sickness, not of a life-threatening nature.
Cancellations
-
You may cancel your booking by doing so at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
-
Regardless of your initial method of payment, you will not be entitled to a refund but will be issued a credit for the balance of any unused stay, less a $30 administration fee.

Any balance of fees will be held in credit for use within 12 months from the date of cancellation. Should you not use your credit by the end of the 12 month period, it will be forfeited to Caravan & Camping in Queensland Pty Ltd.

You may cancel your booking by contacting Reception.
-
No refund or credit is given to reservation changes less than 24-hours notice.
-
Managers have the discretion to waive the cancellation and administration fees where special circumstances warrant it.
-
The policy is subject to change without notice.
Unaccompanied Minors​
-
Under 18's must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent, step-parent, guardian or another adult who has parental rights and responsibilities for the under 18-year-old guest and who made the reservation. Caravan & Camping in Queensland may immediately cancel the guest's booking and the full booking amount will be forfeited to Caravan & Camping in Queensland under this clause should the main guest for a reservation be found to be a person under the age of 18. Children under the age of 14 should be supervised by a responsible adult. Parents remain responsible for all children.
Minimum Length of Stay

The minimum length of stay at Caravan & Camping in Queensland apply and vary by season.

​Minimum length of stay for online bookings may differ to conditions for bookings made direct with Park office.
Pets
-
Pets are welcome on the application for powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites only.

Bookings may be made directly with reception by phone or email. See our Pets Terms and Conditions for more information.
Smoking
-
Smoking of tobacco products and e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited by State/Territory law;
-
inside any enclosed buildings within the park. This includes, but is not limited to amenity blocks and reception buildings.

within 5 meters of any entrance or exit of buildings..
-
within 10 meters of a children's playground or any other recreational facilities.
Please note: Failure to comply with our smoking policy will result in a $250 fee being charged to your credit card or forfeiture of your cash deposit. You may also be subject to penalties or fines as set out by State/Territory Law.

Smokers, please discard any cigarette butts in the bins, do not leave them on our land.
Fires
-
Small self-contained fires off the ground are permitted pending and fire restrictions of fire bans. Please check with staff or the latest fire restrictions from the Rural Fire Service.
Cooking and Firewood
-
NO FIRES TO BE MADE ON THE GROUND. Wood cooking fires are allowed in the containers provided for open fires and on the condition that they are extinguished with water after use. Cooking fires must be attended at all times.

Do not collect firewood from the property, beaches or dunes. Do not cut branches from trees for firewood. Firewood can be purchased from Caravan & Camping in Queensland’s office.

Always observe fire bans. Extinguish all fires once cooking is complete.

Bonfires are not permitted.
-
Fireworks are not permitted.
-
Chainsaws are not permitted.
Site Capacity
-
Sites -The maximum number of people per site is 6, including infants.
Site Availability and Allocation
-
Site numbers are not guaranteed. Please contact Reception if you have any special requirements before your arrival.

In unforeseen circumstances and if deemed unsuitable for safety reasons, a site may not be available even if you have a confirmed reservation.
-
In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide you with a site or cabin on the date listed on your booking confirmation, you will be offered an alternative site or cabin or alternative dates or if we are unable to make suitable arrangements for alternative accommodates or dates, a full or partial refund.

For your own safety and for the conservation of our environment we ask that you only camp in the designated and existing campsites.
Electricity
-
Only one extension cord with 10 amp lead and terminals shall be connected to the caravan park supply. Double adaptors in powerheads are prohibited.

Caravan & Camping will not be liable for damages caused by power outages.

Generators are allowed on unpowered sites within limited times: STRICKTLY 8am to 8pm
General Facilities and Sites

Please keep your site tidy and use the facilities provided for washing clothes, drying clothes and rubbish disposal. Everyone appreciated a well-kept site, so please remember that we do not allow trenches to be dug in the park.

Misuse of the entrance gates (this includes allowing other vehicles, other than your own into the park) and amenities will result in eviction from the park. No refund will apply.

Please do not dump any other waste into the toilet system. Provision of sanitary disposals are available.
Vehicles and Leisure Equipment

One vehicle per accommodation reservation is permitted, and one vehicle and one caravan, camper trailer or tent per site reservation.
-
If you would like to bring any other vehicles, or leisure equipment (e.g. boats, jet skis, motorbikes etc), please contact our friendly staff at the time of your booking to arrange for additional space on to of the standard site. Additional charges apply. See Rates.
Noise Curfew and Behaviour

In the interest of all guests enjoying their stay, we ask that excessive noise is ceased by 9 pm. Music and TV's should not be audible to adjoining sites. Parents are responsible for ensuring their children do not disturb the peace and quiet of other guests.

Caravan & Camping in Queensland has a zero-tolerance for abuse of our staff, our staff’s safety, and well being is important to our values, failure to comply may result in eviction from our campgrounds;
Bicycles
-
We consider ourselves a family-friendly park where bicycles are permitted however it is essential that helmets are worn at all times and bicycles are not ridden after dark.
Fishing
-
After fishing, to avoid the attraction of flies and unpleasant smells, please deposit unwanted bait in the ocean (rather than in the waste bins) taking care to remove all plastic from the beaches. Fish frames should be buried, and this should be done in the inter-tidal zone only.

Please properly dispose of any fishing equipment (lines and hooks etc) so that it does not pollute our land or waterways.
Insects and Repellent

We strongly advise bringing your own insect repellent when visiting as seasonal mosquitoes and midges have been reported.

If we, in your opinion, do not deliver on this commitment, we will take all necessary steps to remedy your problem as soon as possible. In the rare instance that we are unable to attend to your issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may choose to either: -
Cancel the remainder of your stay and receive a credit for your unused nights, or
stay on and get compensation for the difference in the service delivered and what you paid for.
Liability​

By using our website and making reservations through us or a Third Party, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge that you are responsible for any and all of your guests, and equipment that are brought into the camping grounds.

We have many trees in our park that drop branches and debris. Staff is continually pruning to reduce the problem and major pruning is also carried out twice a year to further reduce the risk. We cannot accept responsibility whatsoever for personal injury or damage to personal property from falling branches or debris.

Caravan & Camping in Queensland may sometimes include third party products in packages we offer. As an agent on behalf of this product or service, Caravan & Camping in Queensland shall not be liable under any circumstances, for any failure by those service providers to fulfil such arrangements, nor for any error, alteration, or change of any kind made by those service providers following the acceptance of the booking by them. All coupons, vouchers, receipts, and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by those service providers.

Caravan & Camping in Queensland will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Caravan & Camping in Queensland, both for itself and on behalf of their employees or agents, do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their employees or agents for injury, damage, or loss to persons or goods whatsoever or however the same may be caused and they do not warrant and are in no way responsible for the accuracy of any information given in statements made by their service providers in terms of accommodation & service arrangements. By utilising the services provided by Caravan & Camping in Queensland, you agree that:

Caravan & Camping in Queensland shall not be liable for the willful or negligent acts and/or omissions of such carriers and/or service providers.

Caravan & Camping in Queensland will not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, property damage, or personal loss to you or those travelling with you in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other travel services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, natural disasters, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, Government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule.
Evacuation Plan

Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the evacuation plan for your Camping Ground in case of an emergency. A copy of the evacuation plan is located in the amenities blocks, and offices of each camping ground for your reference.
In case of emergency, please remain calm and follow instructions from staff. For after-hours emergencies, please call emergency services (FIRE, POLICE, or AMBULANCE) on 000.
